ABOUT US
Who Are We?
Our program participates in the Southeastern Women's Lacrosse League, or SWLL.
We are a completely student run organization, we have two president-elects and a full executive board. Our team has many on and off campus events. From fundraising to practice and volunteering, we are fully involved. Since we are completely student run, we do not participate in any sort of recruiting.
Our program has become more competitive over the past few years and every year we continue to improve our standings in the league.
When Do We Play?
We hold tryouts in both the fall and spring and maintain a roster of 20-30 girls. Our main season is in the spring where we play between 12-15 games. Many of these games involve traveling to other schools for both day and overnight trips. While there is no official season in the fall, we play in a few scrimmages as well as host our own Southern Comfort Tournament here at Clemson. It is expected of members to come to every practice and game, unless there are school conflicts.
What Else Do We Do?
Off-field activities are a big part of Clemson Lacrosse. We like to create a strong bond between the team and we love to hang out together. We do fundraisers during both semesters and have social functions with other club teams as well as away weekends.
Who Is The Coach?
We are a completely student-run organization. The team is led by the 2 elected presidents and events are planned and organized by the executive officers elected every spring.
How Much Does It Cost?
Each active member pays dues per semester, which vary from $250-$300, depending on travel and events of that season.
